.decimal is pleased to join in the effort of going green. The green movement, also known as sustainability, stands for adopting business strategies and activities that meet the needs of the enterprise today while protecting, sustaining and enhancing the human and natural resources that will be needed in the future.

Our Green Movement includes a true commitment to a long term sustainability strategy through integration into .decimal’s culture and values. Our strategy is founded on environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

The current Green Movement includes many different elements. Our ISO 14001 certification in 2004 demonstrated .decimal’s commitment to continuous environmental improvement. We use biodegradable machining oils and coolant, fluorescent light bulbs and various recycling methods to ensure we are doing our part in protecting the environment.

One of our largest green initiatives is the .decimal Recycling Program. We are about four months into our new recycling program for brass and aluminum compensators and filters. In our effort to reduce the effects .decimal has on the environment we have created a closed loop for our brass and aluminum parts. To learn more about the benefits of recycling your compensators and filters, please contact Kym Rupp.
