Over 100 radiation oncology professionals attended one of .decimal's in-booth presentations during the 2011 Joint AAPM/COMP meeting in Vancouver earlier this month. .decimal sponsored lectures by Dr. Kenneth Hogstrom (Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, LSU) and our very own Board Certified Medical Physicist, Ken Cashon.
Dr. Hogstrom spoke about the clinical applications for BolusECT® compensators for Bolus Electron Conformal Therapy while Ken Cashon shared some of the latest research on Compensator-based IMRT for Mobile Targets from H. Lee. Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando.
