All Employee ASTRO Visit
On Sunday October 2nd .decimal employees from all departments boarded a bus bound for Miami and the 2011 ASTRO annual meeting. President and CEO, Richard Sweat, offered this unique opportunity to tour the ASTRO exhibit hall so all team members could learn about how their role at .decimal is vital to the company's success and the radiation oncology industry's commitment to patient care. The .decimal group got to hear a presentation on IMRT for Mobile Targets by Dr. Thomas Dilling (H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center). The .decimal booth also featured presentations by Ben Nelms, Ph.D (Canis Lupus) and Ken Cashon, MS, DABR. The presenters spoke respectively about rethinking the way dosimetrists receive training and the applications for Bolus Electron Conformal Therapy.
